The much anticipated Nov.6 Hike is nearing so I think its time to
nail down the details. Please give your input.

Event: Nov. Group Hike
Date: Nov.6, 2004
Time: 9:00 am
Place: Mary Ann Brown Nature Preserve
Info: Meet at the trail head and hike the main trail (1.13mile)
and allow those who haven't stamp in do so. Then gather at the
pavillion to discuss carving.
Directions: From Baton Rouge take US 61 north. just before St.
Francisville take LA 965 east and drive 5.5 miles and the trail head
is on the left.

Time: Noonish
Place: Clark Creek Natural Area
Info: Meet at the trail head and hike the improved trail(1.78
mile) down to the water falls. Then hiking the primitive trail
(2.6mile) back up. C.C. is physically demanding and alot like a
mountain trail. Please come prepared; hiking boots, staff, water,
trail mix,and log book and clues.
Directions: 3 miles north of St. Fancisville on US 61 turn left on
LA 66 continue for 12 miles then turn right on Hwy 969. 7 more
miles and the Pond store will be on the left up a hill. Follow road
in front of it to the trail head on the left.
